The Downeast Rover The Downeast Rover is a 55' topsail schooner built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) rules. The Downeast Rover is US Coast Guard inspected and certified for 29 passengers. Below decks the Downeast Rover is finished in a variety of fine hardwoods as a luxury live-aboard yacht. During the late Spring, Summer and early Fall months, the Downeast Rover offers three two-hour cruises per day from her home port of Manteo, NC. In addition to her normal schedule, the Downeast Rover is available for private charter, and is perfectly suited for weddings, birthdays, business meetings, or for any events that deserve to be memorable.
