Pirate's Cove Realty is a proud sponsor of the 2009 Outer Banks Marathon and welcomes all participants.
The marathon will be held November 8th, 2009. The full marathon begins at 7:20 am and the half marathon begins at 7:00 am.
There is no deadline for registration, however, there is a runner limit of 2500 for the full marathon and 3500 for the half marathon. Those who wish to participate should not delay.
The race will begin in the town of Kitty Hawk and will end in downtown Manteo on Roanoke Island.
There are great special rates at Pirate's Cove and Shallowbag Bay Club for the marathon weekend. Nightly rates starting as low as $150.00 per night with a 2 night minimum. Enjoy your stay at one of our luxury accomdodations at either Resort, the closest accomodations you will find to the finish line. We will also be offering a noon check-in and a 2:00pm check out. Many of our properties offer high speed internet, as well as pet friendly accomodations.
